Brilliant the way Krentz created an alternate world where psychic powers and weapons are real. A very enjoyable read as long as you're willing to accept her world for the duration of the book, as I did.

I truly enjoyed the banter between the leads, but the setting felt like a reworking of her Jayne Castle futuristic book series, and I just didn't find the glowing plant jungle as compelling or scary this time around. It was a pleasant read, but not one for my keeper shelf.
