Night Shield was a great page turner that I had somehow missed. Allison Fletcher is the daughter of the police commissioner and a new detective. Jonah Blackhawk is a "bad boy" her dad helped reform and the owner of a bar where potential robbery victims seem to be targeted. They are suspicious of each other and sparks fly. At moments it felt like an early draft of Eve and Roarke from her J.D. Robb books - worth a read!
Night Moves was less fun for me, predictable and the spooky aura was actually just kind of sad.

Great reading
Nora Roberts is a personal favorite of mine. Her books supply a dose of both romance and mystery. This was a really good series.
Quick read!

The last in the Night Tales series. As usual, it's full of Nora Roberts' flair for mystery and intrigue.
Good book. Two nice love stories.
Always enjoy Nora Roberts, though I'm not quite as fond of the shorter stories. Two in this one.
Excellent series, the 2nd story isn't part of the series but is very good also, keeps you on the edge of your seat til the end.

2 books in one. both good reads.
Two books in one. Very good. Night shield is about a cop who is doing undercover work at a club and falls in love with the owner. Night Moves is about maggie Fitzgerald who moves to a small town and finds a body in her yard by her landscaper Cliff Delaney. This murder rings the couple together.
two light and easy reads.
great series, need to read all of the books in this series, although each can stand alone, I think there are six or seven books.
Book includes Night Shield and Night Moves. Both excellent plot and maintain hi interest levels. Takes you away in their worlds to forget your troubles for a while.
Great reading

The night is filled with mystery, danger...and romance. Here is the last Night Tales book, reissued for the first time, plus a bonus classic tale of passion and peril by the incomparble mistress of romantic suspense.
Night Shield - She was too much of a cop not to be suspicious of a shady character like Jonah Blackhawk... So working undercover in Jonah's club was getting extremely complicated. For despite Allison Fletcher's determined distrust, the smoothe-talking tough guy was getting under her skin, and that was too close for comfort.
Night Moves - Some people had skeletons in their closets; Maggie Fitzgerald had one in her yard. She'd retreated from her fast-paced life, seeking peace and solitude. And if surly landscaper Cliff Delaney's rude manner and irresistible sexuality weren't disturbing enough, now an old murder shattered her peace entirely, imiperiling her life and forcing her right into the protctive arms of the most irritating man alive

Features two stories -- Nora Roberts creates characters that you will love and keeps the mystery going.
This is the 3rd and last book in this series, another good one by Roberts
This is a good book -- Fans of her In Death series should like it a lot.
Night Shield is the last in the Night Tales Series. Night Moves is another book included.
As always Nora Roberts can't write a bad book. The one thing that disappointed me was that Night moves had no connection to the rest of the series. The first part of the book, Night Shield, continued but Night Moves had no connection to the series.
The final book in the NIGHT TALES series, plus a bonus book.
Great Series
Books 5 and 6 in the Night Tales Series. Nora Roberts does a wonderful job of telling the story of crimes that occur at night.
Part of a great 3 book 6 story series.
Excellent mystery/romance - two books in one.

This is books 5 & 6 in the series. All good stories. The only thing I found odd is books 1-5 have same characters. Book 6 has completely new characters not related to the ones in the other 5 books.
Final book in the Night Tale Series plus and riveting bonus book.
It is 2 stories, one from the Night Tales series and a mystery romance novel.
2 very enjoyable stories.
Last book, Night Moves, doesn't really fit with the rest of the "Night" series. Decent books though.

The final book in the thrilling, classic Night tales series, plus a riveting bonus book.
Two classical murder mysteries by Nora Roberts
a lady cop and a bar owner .
Glad I got the Night Tales series because it is Nora's writing at her finest.
The night is filled with mystery, danger . . . and romance. Here is the last Night Tales book, reissued for the first time, plus a bonus classic tale of passion and peril by the incomparable mistress of romantic suspense, #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts
Night Shield -- She was too much of a cop not to be suspicious of a shady character like Jonah Blackhawk . . . and too much of a woman not to be drawn into him. So working undercover in Jonah's club was getting extremely complicated. For despite Allison Fletcher's determined distrust, the smooth-talking tough guy was getting under her skin, and that was too close for comfort.
Night Moves -- Some people had skeletons in their closets; Maggie Fitzgerald had one in her yard. She'd retreated from her fast-paced life, seeking peace and solitude. And if surly landscaper Cliff Delaney's rude manner and irresistible sexuality weren't disturbing enough, now an old murder shattered her peace entirely, imperiling her life and forcing her right into the protective arms of the most irritating man alive.

The last book in the NIght Tales series plus another thrown in. An enjoyable read but not as intense as the other Night Tales stories.
Nora Roberts at her best - half romance, half mystery and in her hands that's a great combination. Two stories for the price of one is a terrific bargain. From the cover: The night is filled with mystery, danger and romance. Here is the last Night Tales book, plus a bonus classic tale of passion and peril by the incomparable mistress of romantic suspense.

Gotta love Nora
In Night Shield, a hard-nosed female cop is paired unwillingly with an ostensibly shady nightclub owner with predictably romantic results. In Night Moves, a famous song writer hires an opinionated landscaper with unexpected results.
