5th book (and currently last) book in the "Vicky Bliss" series. Very enjoyable. Kept me guessing till the end...the best of the 5.

I loved this book. It has all the "he done her wrong" elements that are so enjoyable, and of course a happy ending.

Another excellent one in the Vicky Bliss series (but I hope not the last) you will be surprised at almost every turn and on the edge of your seat for most of the book. I loved the ending but hope it isn't the end.

This is a Vicky Bliss murder mystery set on a cruise ship touring Egypt. (It was hard for me to get past the idea that cruise ships don't ply up and down the Nile-because it's too shallow.) But there are enough shady characters, and people with secrets to make this story an interesting read.

The 5th book in the series and the best. This time Vicky is sent to Egypt on a luxury cruise after the police ask her to help to solve a murder and prevent the heist of Egyptian antiquities. Much to her shock her errant lover Sir john Smythe is on the same cruise along with his new bride. Vicky suspects the authorities really want her to finger John and she is tempted. Enter her boss Schmidt who continues his meddling. Vicky is so upset that she over looks the danger of a criminal who hides behind a mask of charm while moving in for the kill. Lots of laugh along the way as Elizabeth Peters uses her sly sense of humor in this interesting tale of treasure, murder and thieving.

I just love anything Elizabeth Peters writes and the Vicky Bliss series is no exception.

I enjoyed this book. Vicky bliss is hilarious as is Schmidt, her boss. But they get the job done. Always fascinating to learn a bit about history too.
