As a long time fan of Amanda Ashley's books, this one was a disappointment. I could barely force myself to finish it, and the ending was ridiculously stupid. A true wall banger.

Written along the lines of Harlequin Romances, keeps your interest but not suspenseful, mostly unbelieveable and predictable, probably won't read much of her anymore.
Lots of action in this one. Oak Hollow is supposed to be neutral ground for Vampires and Werewolves, but some creature is breaking the truce. Vamps, Weres and Humans are turning up dead! Kathy recently moved to town to open a bookstore. Rafe Cordova, Lord of the Vamp community comes in one night to buy a mystery to read and falls head over heels for Kathy. The feeling is mutual. But with all the chaos going on in town and suspected Vamp hunters on the prowl, things are a little too crazy for romance! Light reading, not too complicated as far as Vamp "rules". Good read.
