Good debut. Edie is a nurse working on a unit for paranormals. When she accidently kills a patient, she feels honor bound to fulfill his last wish. Interesting take on zombies makes for an enjoyable read. 4 stars

A regular nurse coersed into working in a secret hospital treating very paranormal people. She is a good hearted person who works diligently to help nearly every person she comes in contact with, thus she puts herself in dangerous situations. Very different view from most paranormal books. This book was very interesting and when I finished this I read the second book and liked it just as well. You do sit down hoping she won't say yes to someone elses needs and put herself in harms way again. But she is consistent. Enjoyed this book

This was a great debut novel and I can't wait to read the rest of the story. Love the way she writes zombies. She also left several loose ends to make me want to read on but this could also be read as a standalone.

Interesting twist on urban fantasy. Our author is a nurese and blends her medical background nicely into the storyline. Our main character, Edie, is quite complex. Sometimes you love her other times you hate her. I love the Dragon scene. Looking forward to book 2.
