Set in the same world as The Wizard of 4th Street, this book is about Catseye Gomez, a very special cat, who helps the police on a murder case. It's interesting and funny, one of those stories that you're sorry when it's done.

This book could have been so good. I love Catseye Gomez but the book was not very good. Mr. Hawke spent to much time on lectures and needless explaination to the detriment of character development. Leventhal is supposed to be a bad ass cop and ends up looking stupid and a poor cop. Solo is just sort of left hanging out in the wind with next to nothing in character development. Shame on you Mr. Hawke.
