For a short audio book (loved the fact that it was read by Neil Gaiman himself!) he did repeat some of the stories or who the gods were, Thor God of Thunder..Thor God of Thunder..Thor God of Thunder (you get the idea) a lot throughout the tales. I felt that could have been done away with as we didn't need a refresher that often, especially on the more known Gods, or about every three paragraphs. Granted, some of the lesser known Gods, it was nice to have a refresher, especially if they hadn't been mentioned in a while. But I'm pretty sure everyone knows who Thor, Loki, and Odin are (if not let me introduce you to Marvel..)
All in all I loved hearing the stories, getting some backstory to the Gods and how they came to be, and the little bits of everyday advice thrown in as well. Neil's voice is amazing to hear, as he is a wonderful storyteller, just as he is a writer.
I highly suggest this, and if you have a chance, listen to it on audiobook!
