"A parable of grace ane redemption, it is unquestionably the best book about the Catholic priesthood since Graham Greene's The Power And The Glory and Jon Hassler is certainly one of the very best Catholic novelists since Graham Greene." -Andrew M. Greeley

This is one of John Hassler's best Minnesota stories, right up there with Love Hunter and Simon's Night,if you are not familiar Hassler is to Minnesota what Anne Tyler is to Baltimore. He captures the characters very explicitly, so that you inevitably find yourself talking to them, really good!
