Helpful Score: 3
I gave this book 2 1/2 stars. The romance rating would be close to zero. This 36 year old gal with an interesting face and skinny body, has two guys interested in her and she gets a kiss on the lips from one fellow that did not produce any zings and the other guy kisses her on the cheek. She never choses between the two of them and the book ends with her telling the guys that she is not ready for a relationship with either of them. She decides she needs to learn to live her life alone before she decides to be with anyone. The book just ends there, unresolved. There is no sequel to this book either. Also while this is a clean book the Christian message is very very weak.
From Christianbook.com:
When anthropology professor Tessa and her colleagues enter Denali National Park, they have no idea that romance---and life-and-death adventure---lies ahead! A winter storm pummels the tundra, forcing their group to shelter in a cave. Will Tessa lose her heart to the Native Alaskan activist? Or the New York stockbroker turned general-store owner?
***I enjoyed this book very much, as I have all this author's books. Great for a weekend read***
