Nosy in Nebraska has to be the funniest book I have ever read! It is actually three Mary Connealy novels compiled in one book. Each story is about murder in the wacky town of Melnik, Nebraska, which happens to be the home of Maxie, the world's largest field mouse (thankfully stuffed!). The town is obsessed with this mouse. Each book has hilarious characters. I highly recommend this one!!!

I thought this collection was just 'okay.' I have read other Mary Connealy books and thoroughly enjoyed them. This collection was a bit too 'quirky' for me. By that I mean, the characters' quirks were not believable, they were overdone. The story lines were just 'okay' as well. It was all too corny for murder mysteries. I am not a mystery fan because I get emotionally involved with the characters in the books I read ... these characters ... well, I didn't connect with any of them which is very unusual for me. I will continue to read Mary's works because I truly like her style. This collection, just didn't capture me.
