The older daughter of an ordinary family is struck with a rare form of brain cancer and the parents spring into action, doing everything in their power to save their daughter's life in this journal about their experiences. There are some lighthearted moments and also some really dark moments of despair. I won't say I enjoyed it, but it was certainly an eye-opening, and well-written experience about what it is like to live with a progressively worsening form of brain cancer.
