When I ordered this book, I assumed that it was about how to cut down on material possessions, but it is far more than that. At the beginning, I was afraid it might prove boring, but it became quite interesting and useful further on. Interspersed with tales from the author's experience (She worked for years in the book trade.) is sage advice for living in general. She does not say, "Have as few possessions as possible," but, rather, "Make sure that what you do have, you need and use," and recommends letting what you don't need go, so others can use it. This applies to how we use our time, as well, and the attitude we take towards what we are doing. Taking the author's insight to heart, I am letting this little gem go on to help someone else, now that I have benefited from it.
