This was a cute story. A nice addition to the other hockey themed books. For all the other RG followers, this story picks up immediatly after Ty and Fatih's book.
The hero is a crabby hot jock with wounded pride, physical injuries, and no real direction after a serious car accident. Enter Chelsea out of work actress, hired as his "assistant" because of his resistance to having a nurse, and the Chinooks organization insists he have help after his accident. I didn't notice him to be too big a potty mouth though, however the book is not free of all cursing.
I feel the opposite of the other review, I thought Chelsea was charming and her movie/fashion/body image refrences made her, well, her. She lives amongst hollywood starlets, and isn't one. Yet she loves fashion (and do not remember a scene where she wore a tight top) longs to be a movie star and is lugging around DD's.
What I found refreshing was it's not your typical "opposites attract" or "forbidden affair" or "enemies coming together" or "matchmaking by someone else" story. It is a fluffy story, not my favorite Gibson book, but etertaining and DEF. not the worst. I just wish there was "more" to the ending, seemed rushed to me.
Over all, worth the read in my opinion.

Absolutely loved this book - a great addition to the Chinooks hockey series - great to see a little of Ty and Faith again. Funny read, with great characters, both lead and supporting. Light, fluffy read... just what I expected. Looking forward to Sam's story in 2011... Totally missed the "potty mouth" the other reviewer mentioned - so he swore like once or twice but sure did not offend me.

I found this story quite amusing and enjoyable. However there were parts where I felt like it was choppy and didn't flow, especially when the relationship would heat up perfectly, then nothing, it's business as usual and not sure if that is the way things would happen in real life. I was missing a gap between one sexual encounter to the next. Overall, there were some funny parts which was why I gave it a higher rating!

Nothing but Trouble is part of Rachel Gibson's Chinook's Hockey series. Mark Bressler is recovering from a very bad car accident which has devastatingly ended his career as a professional hockey player for the Chinooks. To make matters worse, his team has just won the Stanley Cup and he had to sit at home and watch instead of skating on the ice with his teammates. Chelsea Ross is a struggling actress who takes a position as Mark Bressler's home health care assistant. Mark's surly demeanor and grumpy disposition will stretch her nerves to the breaking point as she tries to stick out the duration of the job for three months, which will earn her a $10,000 bonus.
Nothing but Trouble is a solid read. I enjoyed the fast paced antics between Chelsea and Mark. Mark is a grumpy bastard for the first part of the book. Gibson makes this understandable because of his circumstances and he does have his sensitive moments. Chelsea puts up with a lot in the beginning but easily dishes it out back just as good as she gets it from Mark. They are evenly matched with their explosive chemistry.
Nothing but Trouble is not a deep read by any means, but it is fun and entertaining. It does have a rather predictable confrontation at the end. However, it is not dragged out to the point of frustration. Mark and Chelsea easily work through their misunderstanding and a sweet ending is had for all. For fans of contemporary or sports themed romances, Nothing but Trouble is a quick, fun read.

I just loved this book!! Another winner by Rachel Gibson. Yes, it is a light, fluffy, less-than-intense read, but overall it is good fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't feel the same as the other reviewers who thought the hero had an overly potty mouth and the heroine was obsessed with her boobs and wore tight tops.
