Delightful.
This book reads like a mystery novel, compelling and absorbing. The cast of characters are the ghost craftsmen whose lives are pieced together from their chisel strokes, their choice of woods and materials.
I could not tear away once I picked it up.
The antiques are described in terms of glory and appreciation of the artfulness of its' existence in the world.
The world of collecting, and auctioning of antique furniture is fully told here, and includes big names in the game.
For craftmen and art lovers, for antique lovers; this book is a link to the hobby of collecting and viewing objects of desire.

found this book fascinating, though it's pretty obscure. Great if you love antiques and mysteries. Short, but enjoyable.
