Enjoyable book. No outrageous scenarios you can't believe. Didn't go where I expected it but I enjoyed it.

Adventure at the bottom of the sea. Good storytelling. Very good.

SPOILER ALERT!

I got this book thinking it would be about a large, previously undiscovered sea creature and the humans reaction to it and it to them. This was not the case. The "creature" is seen in the beginning of the book and not heard from or seen again until the very end (as in LAST CHAPTER end). The story is not even about the creature. It's about the subs and exploring the depths and a ridiculous subplot of a scientist trying to sell out his company. I read the entire book hoping to get more of a description of the creature, hoping they would photograph it or it would atleast attack someone but there was nothing. The book description is completely misleading and I was very disappointed.

If you like books that explain in great details again and again how dangerous it is to work at the depths of the ocean they were at, you may like this book. But if you're into monster books, don't buy this one, you will almost certainly be disappointed.

A departure from his usual space format, we are now in the ocean, in a small community under the sea. Something is dwelling down there and it wants the humans to leave. Something BIG.
