When Phoebe Castro is forced to move to a Greek island after her mother decides to remarry, her life is shattered. She must leave behind her two best friends and her hopes of receiving a track scholarship to USC.

To make things even worse, her stepfather, evil stepsister, and all of the residents of Serfopoula for that matter are not what one would call normal.

They are all descendants of Greek gods and goddesses.

Phoebe must learn to adjust to her new lifestyle and high school, all while learning about herself and finding a new path to travel.

Quick, lighthearted, and bursting with Greek mythology, OH. MY. GODS. is perfect for those carefree summer days, or anytime one needs to escape to a faraway place.

This is a great read for teens and adults alike. No quests or monsters a la Percy Jackson, but a fun story about an older girl who finds herself in a school for the descendants of the Greek gods. The characters are great and even the adults in the story are well drawn. I am looking forward to reading more about Phoebe and her new friends.

Oh.My.Gods, is about a girl named Phoebe who is forced to move to Greece with her mom and her new husband. She is in for a bunch of surprises! Not only does she have a bastard of a step sister but she is apparently attending a school full of the decendants of Greek gods! Yeah you read that right. Isn't that cool?
I loved the fact that Greek mythology is incorporated in this modern novel. I also thought the concept of the girl-not-fitting in, unrequited love, and other topics. The story was pretty cute, but it's not for everyone. It would appeal more to younger readers than young adults. This one was okay and I would recommend it to those who are looking for a nice, cute, short, love story, especially if you're into Greek gods.
