Boy, I learned a lot from this book (and promptly forgot most of it, but that's another story). You have to wait until nearly the end of the book to find out the real name of the Michelin Man (of course, you could google it, but that would be cheating). One of the few books I've read where the end is more interesting than the beginning, because she visits 4 oil producing countries (Venezuela, Chad, Nigeria, and Iran) along with China, and describes the disfunctionality that oil has brought to those countries.
