This book is beautiful. The illustrations, done by a world class water color artist, are breathtaking and a wonder in and of themselves. The story is wonderfully written, with a poetry to them that draws you in and makes you want to live in this world. And if you are fortunate enough to get your hands on a copy of this book, you just might find that you do live in this world. And if you find you do live in this world, the question you might ask yourself is, Can you hear the Old Turtle?
