Whitley Streiber gives an extremely different point of view about what happens AFTER 2012. I am only giving this book 4 stars because I think most people will find the ideas that Streiber presents to be "over the top" and said ideas and his presentation make the book a difficult read.

All that aside, I quite enjoyed the book and the ending has caused me to re-evaluate all the "standard" points of view of the 'end-times" that I have read elsewhen. This book goes far beyond what most of we readers could possibly imagine and of course, if you have read anything else by Streiber, you know that is exactly what the reader should expect.

Ultimately, the ideas presented here will continue to haunt me and thus I must give this book a solid good recommendation.

Whitley Strieber can always find a new slant on a concept, and "The Omega Point" is a great example. He has taken the end-of-the-world idea in a totally new and original direction.

It is impossible for me to even begin to describe this story... you just have to read it. The plot is intriguing and will make you wonder. The characters are sympathetic and believable. The action is non-stop. And the writing is great.

This is one of those books you just can't put down. I have always liked Strieber. but now I like him even more!
