This is the first in the 2 part Quinn series. Make sure you have picked up "Always a Thief" before you start, you will want to pick up the next one as you finish the last page if this one. They really are 2 parts of a whole. I enjoyed the series, good characters, smart and enough of the storyline revealed as the book moves to keep it interesting. I would have to say I wanted more, and especially felt that there should have been a third, the story ended very "open" for me. But a good solid/fun read none the less.

One of my favoriet authors. Kay Hooper comes through with Thrills, Chills and romance. Morgan West is smart and savey and the director of the upcoming huge exhibit. Morgan comes face to face with the Interpols most wanted and famous thief - Quinn. It keeps your interest until the last page! and ready for the next sequel..

This is a great book. It had taken centuries for Max Bannister's family to acquire their treasures, and now he's been asked to risk his collection as bait for a master criminal. For his own reasons he agrees. Many thieves come out of the woodwork, but the most wanted one comes into contact with the museums curator, but remains out of reach. This one will keep you in suspense.

I will never read anything else by this author. Her characters are shallow, the ending of the plot came out of nowhere and her male/female relationship building sucked.

Great book I didn't want to put down. Now I need to find all Hooper's books, and read them. I just ordered the sequel to this book. I WAS very disappointed to be left hanging at the end. The sequel is "Always A Thief", which I haven't read yet. Easy reading, with likeable characters.

I first fell in love with Quinn when I read the original "Loveswept" series. I am so glad she fully wrote this the way she wanted to, as it's a much stronger story now. Even though I knew a lot of what would happen, I loved reading this book. I can't wait for the next one (Always a Thief) and what ever else she writes after. Great characters!!

Good book, fast read, including romance in a fast plot. I enjoyed this one so much I wrote myself a note to get the sequel.

Good read, nice characters. Morgan must guard her employer's exhibit of family collectibles from a man she knows is Interpol's most wanted thief, and yet other distractions are getting in her way.

A little different from her other books, not as much romance, but still a good read.

Not as good as Hooper's "shadows" and "evil" series, but still a good read.

A private collection is going to be put on display at the museum. Morgan, Wolfe and Storm must protect it. Many thieves want to steal it especially Quinn who no on has ever been able to catch. Very good book.

This is not an earthshattering review: I liked this book -- not as much as I like her psychic FBI books, but it was good.

Hooper writes the Thief series at the interface between romance and suspense/mystery. Not being a romance reader, I was a bit put off over the 'seathing passions' parts but the suspense was far to compelling to put down. Hoopers Shadow and Evil series are not as romantically thick as this one. If you love romances and mysteries, this is a no miss. I do give it 4 1/2 stars. Worthwhile read.

I love Kay Hooper!
Nothing is safe...No lock can keep him out. No alarm can detect his presence. There is no hiding place he can't find and nothing he can't make his own. He is a master thief..and by the time you realize what your missing he's gone...
This book is hard to put down.

It had taken centuries for Max Bannisters family to acquire their treasures, and now hes been asked to risk his collection as bait for a master criminal. For his own reasons, Max allows a public exhibition, and to protect the family fortune he must rely on the skills of his half brother--a world-class security expert--and his smart and savvy exhibit director, Morgan West.

But almost immediately, Morgan comes face-to-face with the mysterious Quinn, Interpols most wanted thief for the past decade--and a man who makes it very clear he has an eye on the Bannister collection. And if thats not enough, Morgan begins to realize that shes surrounded by secrets and lies, and that someone very close to Max is moving behind the scenes, intent on murder as well as robbery...someone whose ultimate plan threatens to ruin them all.
This is book one of two. By then end of this book, they still have moved Max's jewels into the museum. The solve one "mystery" yet still have the big one to do. You have to read "Always a Thief" to find out what happens!
