This is my second read by Kava and I really enjoyed it. It'a pretty fast read but it does keep you interested from the start. The plot centers around three individuals, one of whom was just released from prison, who commit a bank robbery and end up killing 4 people after "one false move" by a teller. If you like a fast-paced book, pick this one up.

I have read many alex Kava stories and always feel that they are wrapped up too neatly at the end. This one is an exception. It is the best of her books I have read, it has an excellent plot and is very suspenseful. i read it in one day because I could not put it down. I highly recommend it to all mystery lovers.

I think I liked this stand alone by Kava better than the Maggie O'Dell books. The story was intriguing and without a "main" character the author could create a compelling tale.

A real page turner. Good story. I have enjoyed all of Ales books so far. I thought I might be disappointed because Maggie was not in this one but I was not.
Interesting premise.
I found One False Move difficult to get into, but then I couldn't put it down until I found out how it ended.
Always entertaining.
Good book by Alex Kava. Boys missing and found dead, mutilated and annointed with oil. Great suspence. Great ending, showing that a sequil is sure to come.
I've enjoyed this whole series; plan to read them all.
A very fast moving crime novel. Great story.
Great suspensful book!
Worth the read
A departure from her Maggie O'dell series but a great stand alone story.
What a great read! It was very suspenseful...I was scared, but could not put it down.
A page turner, certainly, but I can't help but think that when you've read the back cover, you've basically read the book.
full of supense & tension, intelligent read
different from her Maggie O'dee series, but worth a read
After Jared Barnett is released from death row on a technicality, he hooks up with his sister, Melanie Starks, and her son, Charlie. Jared and Charlie are on a crime spree when in "one false move" they rob a bank, shoot people, and involve Melanie, who is driving the getaway car. Can their luck get any worse?
This book has never been read. The cover says its about a brother and
sister, and her son, fleeing from the police after an attempted bank hold up where things have definately gone wrong.

International bestselling sensation.
