I usually like Lynsay's books, but this is just plain sappy. Plot was lame, could have been more involoved with the mysterious "ex" husband, family ties, or the art world! Just missing something. Read fast and ended disappointedly. Sorry Lynsay!

To bad it didnt last longer, the ending went from the guy who was trying to kill Jake and Nikki to the end in like one chapter, wished it had a bit longer ending, but other then that it was a good story. Now Stephino I mean Jake has changed his mind about being something he hated being when his life was turned back in Vincent & Jackie's story seven years ago and now Jake has a whole new meaning of life with his life mate Nikki.
One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands

Nicole Phillips is counting down the days until her divorce is final. Her soon to be ex was a handsome charmer before marriage. After marriage he was a slave driver pushing her to make more money...for him to spend. The last thing she needed was the handsome cook/housekeeper a family friend sent over. Oh, she needed his cooking and housekeeping skills, it was his sex appeal she didn't need.
Marguerite is up to her matchmaking once again and she's a sneaky one when it comes to putting life mates together. Jake never saw it coming when she convinced him the young woman needed protection from a soon to be ex-husband trying to kill her. After all, he is a bodyguard.
