- Having just finished Stephanie Rowe's "Must Love Dragons," "Date Me, Baby, One More Having just finished Stephanie Rowe's "Must Love Dragons," "Date Me, Baby, One More Time," and "He Loves Me He Loves Me Hot," I was hoping to read something similar here with McCoy. I didn't.
- I thought maybe that was the problem: if I hadn't read Rowe's series first, maybe I would have enjoyed this series more. But I can honestly say I wouldn't have. It was just an OK read for me.
- I kept expecting light warm comedy and laughs with the spice of love and romance; sort of like "Bewitched" or "I Dream Of Jeannie" if you will. There could have been all kinds of incidents and moments, given you have a mortal and a goddess interacting, but there were none. Chloe was stand offish and Matt was defensive and suspicious till almost the end: no fun, no jokes or pranks, no sparks period! Stephanie Rowe's series is hands down the better read!

Liked this one more than the first but still having a hard time with this series. It just seems weak. However, I will still read the 3rd book when it comes out.
