A historical novel of Native American spiritual teaching, and of women dedicated to Goddess Earth
A historical novel of Indian spiritual teaching and of women dedicated to goddess Earth. The author grew up on a Montana ranch. She was an editor of Readers Digest for 22 years, and also published 8 books. One Is the Sun took 8 years to research and write, and challenged Patch Warren to re-think "traditional" views of Native American and immigrant experience.
I love this book! I heard a rumor that the author was going to produce a second book called "Two is the Earth". Based on the Mayan children's count. I still check to see if it has been published. This book is a beautiful journey into native spirituality!
