Has anyone read a book of his that's been particularly helpful?

I've only seen him on the Ellen show. I thought he was interesting to listen to.

Read a couple, but honestly it's mostly common sense stuff.

I am a big fan of Dr. Dyer. His teachings have really helped me alot. You just have to have a mind that is open and form your thoughts and oppinions from there. Two books that come to minde are #1. There's a spiritual solution to every problem and #2 Change your thoughts change your life. I also loved his PBS TV presentation called "Inspiration"

I enjoy listening to his message on youtube and pbs. He's really a positive individual and also Anthony Robins is a great motivational speaker.

Dr. Wayne Dyer says the wittiest things. Here are some of my favorites.

"If you don't like it where you're at you won't like it anywhere. It's about the same anywhere according to your state of mind."

He tells a story about exercising, running up and down the halls of a hotel while travelling and he's doing his running in the mornings. A lot of people come out and complain. Then this lady woman comes out and tells him if he's got that much energy go ahead and do his thing. He goes on to explain some people are just looking for a reason to be offended and this   one lady, she wasn't offended, she was amazed he had so much energy and she would be doing the same thing if she had his energy. He tells it much better.

He told his daughter she can accomplish her goal of recording a music cd of her own sing song as long as she is able to visualize the circumstances she wishes to manifest. She says to her father she needs musicians and he gives her the same advice, you can manifest that you wish to create by visualization.

She goes through this process of  calling him back several times to say she needs such as such to make this cd and each time he tells her the same.

She calls  over and over to let him know his technique worked and she's able to put these pieces together as far as the musicians, recording studio, etc.. Then one day he gets a call from her and she's telling him she just needs the money now to complete the project and he tells her as always to visualize the circumstances she wishes to manifest. She says I am, that's why I'm calling you. I used to listen to him on pbs while raising two small children and it was just so enlightening to hear his good attitude.
