Florida gonzo politics. Very exaggerated (I hope!).
Funny, fun book! The pace was steady enough, characters quirky, and the adventures had me laughing out loud. Probable or improbable? Who knows it's politics in an election scenario. If we just changed the names and the office . . .
I have decided to take on reading all the Tim Dorsey books in the order they were written. This is the third book in the series and it was by far the best one! I loved the politics and crazy characters involved. Marlon Conrad will be one of my favorite book characters from now on!
(Although, I do have to say that it reminded me of Skink a little bit --- Skink is a character in Carl Hiaasen's books that is very similar.)

Politics have never been this funny. The governer candidate in Florida is a shoo-in for re-ekection until anoperation causes mood swings and he beigns to talk about reform and issuess. His new concsience may cost him his governership-
