The book has some good ideas and interesting view points. I could understand or see myself at my current job facing some of his adventures into corporate hairball. I even found myself when he was talking about disobeying signs to go down to the beach, thinking dumbass, that is why we put the signs up everywhere. Yeah we just had too much money in our budget this year and wanted to put signs up on the cliff. The chapter he talks about teasing other people was an eye opener and one that I will keep in the back of my mind and will try to be mindful of. I will also keep the lesson that everything dies, even companies. It is weird how actors or sports professionals want to go out on top of their games, but companies want to do a horrible death of bankruptcy and despair. But honestly when you read Gordon's book if you have been to enough corporate conventions you are not going to learn anything extremely new.
