If you like reading the same book twice, you might like this one. It is pretty much the same story, but from two different points of view - Valerie and Stephanie's. I didn't mind the first section about Valerie, but then to read it all over again from Stepanie's perspective, was just asking to much. I had to force myself to finish the book and was so glad when it was finished. I was very disappointed and won't read the next book in this series. I guess using the same plot twice is easier than thinking up a new plot and eats up enough pages to make it look like a book rather than just a story. Too bad it's so painful for those of us trying to read it.
I couldn't get into this series. I thought the writing was dull and the dialogue between the characters were definitely blah. I gave up after a few chapters.
I tried to read Norah's story as well in "Orchard Valley Brides" and ended up really angry because I hated Norah's character so much. I did enjoy Sherry's story though.
If you have never read Macomber, know that not all her books are like this. I actually enjoy some of them. She is very Christian and PG though so that might be a deterrent for some, but I don't find her preachy.

I really enjoyed this book. It is hard to put down. I love Debbie Macomber books.
