This is the first book by Tracey V. Bateman that I've read. I enjoyed it so much (couldn't put it down)that I've searched for and read more of her books. You will enjoy this book. I read it in 2 days while on a camping trip with my family!

What a wonderful book!!! Shadowed by painful pasts, three nineteenth-century pioneer women work to make new lives for themselves on the Oregon frontier.

I couldn't put this one down. Be warned, you may cry, it's so good! Enjoy!

The stories of how 3 women in the 1800's faced the world and found love after unfortunate, and life changing events was very encouraging and uplifting. How they faced their deepest fears and secrets with courage and trust was amazing. The author I thought captured the Characters thoughts and feeling really well. Once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. :)

This book contains 3 poineer love stories. They are faith inspired and contain plenty of struggle, adventiure and inspiration. The first is about a girl growing up in a tough environment who hopes to find God, the second is about a mother's sacrificial love for her children and a man looking for redemption. The third is about picking up the tatters of a shattered heart.

Three short stories from Bateman, a great author. All stories are great stand alone's as each heroine learns to trust God for her journey. Each journey is unique as the Savior meets each one at their personal needs, just as He does for us.
