Good story line, very suspenseful. Excellent read.

Sam Gentry- labeled an outlaw for a crime he did not commit- is hired on as a ranch hand for a Texas ranch. Image his surprise to find that the owner is his long lost wife - who he believes betrayed him to the Union Army years before. Lacey Gentry is just as surprised to see Sam (who she thought was dead) on her ranch. As she tries to save her ranch, she must also protect her son and try to convince Sam that she did not betray him.
Will Sam and Lacey ever be able to reconcile the feelings they have for one another with the mistrust that each of them bears the other?

I loved all the books in this series. I would recommend that all the books be read. This is a very talented writer. I have tried to read everything she has written.
