Just finished this book and it was great! On a May evening in 1998, the idyllic marriage of wealthy Lake Tahoe couple Peter and Rinette Bergna ended in a crush of metal as their truck plunged 800 ft down a Sierra Nevada mountainside. Peter was thrown from the truck and lived. Rinette went down with the truck and died.. Very interesting how this accident was looked at and how this was finally resolved in court.
