Great Series. You really need to read in order. This trilogy is just one big story. Deep in the Valley, Just Over the Mountain, and Down by the River. I read the Virgin River Trilogy and just had to read this one too. Virgin River people visit Grace Valley. This trilogy is kind of a prequel to Virgin River Trilogy. They are both good but Virgin River is my favorite. Great Author.

Love Robyn and the Grace Valley series is wonderful

Carr's books make me wiggle around in my chair and grin from ear to ear. Positive things happen to the good people in Carr's stories, and suitably, but not irreversibly, negative things happen to those who deserve them. I'm really enjoying this trilogy.

2nd in the Grace Valley trilogy and I really recommend reading all of these and reading them in order to follow the main character and others in the story. As I said in my review of Deep in the Valley(book 1), this is a 3 book long romance that doesn't seem to take over the tone of the book..reads sort of like Karon's Mitford series in that you're in a community you come to care for (hopefully!) but with a lot more problems and drama going on. This is my least favorite of the 3 but necessary to keep the story going on to the 3rd...my main problem was my intense dislike of the exbf showing up. His kids were total brats and so was he! I couldn't even bring myself to care too much about their situation but liked the ongoing romance between the main character and her undercover DEA lover and the ending was nice and probably could have ended there since you can pretty much figure it out! But I'm glad she did 1 more story to tie things together.
