A neat little cozy!
One of Kate's friends calls upon her to help find her mother. It appears that one day Joyce Fielding left her daughter's house and disappeared. Neither has she called or written to say where she is. What happened to to Joyce, a sober, respectable widow in her sixties and where is she?
When Kate locates where Joyce used to live, she stumbles upon a dead body. With the aid of Kate's mother, Roz, she sets out to find Joyce. When the police are called, Kate becomes a suspect.
In all, an entertaining read and I must say, Ms. Stallwood's writing is reminiscent of Agatha Christie. Her Oxford series is extensive and a delight to read.
