The deadline to mark a book mailed has been relaxed because of the coronavirus pandemic. (No other deadline has been changed). See the details here.

This is a safety measure -- so that senders can group their mailings and limit the number of trips to the post office.

The changes went live April 14, 2020.

please note:

• For those members who have an already-accepted request that hasn't been marked mailed, your deadline to mark mailed has changed (to the date on which you accepted the request + 21 days). Please check your My Account page to see your deadlines for mailing.

• No other deadlines have changed.

• We will let the membership know when the mark-mailed deadline goes back to normal.

• Remember that if you use electronic postage , you do NOT have to mail from inside the PO:

  • You can mail from a secure collection point such as a blue mailbox or the dropbox outside the PO, or
  • You can mail from your home mailbox if it is secure and your mail delivery person is willing to pick up packages as well as deliver mail (most are OK with it)
