Like the TV show Trading Spaces? Then you'll love this behind-the-scenes peek at the show. Stories that made it on the air and stories that didn't. Very well-written by then-host Paige Davis and offering some of her background as well. Appealing both textually and visually with an innovative, but not cumbersome, layout.

A fantastic journal written by Paige Davis, former host of TLC's Trading Spaces, that chronicles a year of her life with the show. This book includes TONS of color photographs of Paige, the designers and the rooms featured on the show.

This book is probably past it's prime as Trading Spaces was not what it once was, but this book is still interesting. While reading, you find it is a "diary" of sort by Paige during those years, and you also get a small behind the camera look here and there throughout the book. It is a quick easy read.

I absolutely loved this book. I pick it up from the post office at 9am & had it finished the next day. I could not put it down. If you love watching Trading Spaces & want some behind the scenes info, this is the book to read.

interesting read....its a memoir of her life writen by herself... it goes behind the scenes and talks about the cast and crew plus has pictures.....
This book was a lot of fun. An inside look at Trading Spaces.
Pretty cute...written in the form of Paige's diary..it provides insight into both her personal life as well as her life as the host of Trading Spaces. I enjoyed it.

I'm not much of a Trading Spaces fan. I watched it somewhat regularly when it first started (even before Paige was on it), but I haven't seen a whole episode in a few years. I am, however, a fan of Paige's because of her Broadway career, so I decided to pick up the book because of that. I should have known that it would be mostly about Trading Spaces, and not about Paige herself. It's a good read if you like the show, and it has some interesting bits if you like Paige, but don't expect much of a biographical piece in it.
If you like Paige Davis and Trading Spaces you will enjoy this. It's a fun, quick read.

I enjoyed the show so much years ago, and had seen every episode by now, I think. I collected every book I could about the show years ago, this one I had somehow overlooked, but I saw this book recently in a used bookstore and thought I'd grab it to see if there was anything I had missed. I'm glad I bought it, has a lot of cute anecdotes, lots of pictures, kind of rounds out some of the stories as well as adds some details you wouldn't have known just from watching the show. Not a decorator's book (except for some ideas in the pictures and some funny stories!), or a biography, but a fun addition to the nostalgia of the more wholesome type of reality show where you switch rooms for a few days (not wives or whatever on earth they are doing now). If you're into that show, and like a light read with a lot of visuals, this would be a nice book to add to the collection. If you weren't familiar with the show or don't know the people who are regulars, it's still a funny one-year memoir of a reality show with some really demanding logistics and time pressures. Cute and fun!

This is a must read for any trading spaces fan. There are some hilarious references to episodes that were unforgettable. I liked the show so much better with the host and enjoyed reading Paige's account of the year.

Written in diary style Paige takes you through a year of her life while working for Trading spaces. She also gives you peeks at her personal life. Fun, quick read.
I was kinda disappointed with this one. I thought it would have more decorating information. If you are a Paige fan you'll love it though. It's a journal of her days.
