I really enjoyed this book and getting to know the characters. I'm sure they will develop more later, not so many that you can't get to know each one. She hasn't crowded the book with too many character to keep track of. Rooney and Suzy are an interesting touch to the story. Good story and fast moving. Looking forward to the next one. Would like to see more of Jacob, Edward, Amanda and all the others. The glass blowing portions were interesting.

I liked this first in the series. The book revolves around a glass shop and there were lots of interesting facts about working with glass. As with many first in a series cozies, the first book is usually not the best one as the author hasn't gotten to really know the characters nor does an author hit his/her stride until a couple of books in. That being said, I enjoyed it and will eventually read the other 2 books that are sitting on my shelf. I gave it 3 stars because I actually did guess who the murderer was, and I usually don't.
