Another amazing story by the lovely Kristin Harmel. She can bring me to tears like no other author! The story is set in France during the war, and two women meet each other in the park, both pregnant. They become close friends. One is in a troubled marriage, the other in an idyllic one. There's also a third woman, a Jewish woman, who also fears for herself and her children
s lives. I won't go into more detail, this is usually more than I say. I can't stress enough how much research was done by the author to make everything right! I highly recommend this book!!

This book was beautiful, haunting and heartbreaking all at the same time. I love reading about this time period in France. This history that Kristin Harmel brings to all her books is wonderful. Must Read.
