I'm not sure why I got this book because I have never watched her TV show, listened to any of her songs, or bought any of her products - only know of her what is in the tabloids. Turns out she is smarter and more interesting than I would've thought. I was not aware of her advocay work addressing the troubled teen industry. The most interesting chapters were those in which she describes her personal experiences in a few of these programs. Although there is plenty of name dropping and descriptions of glamorous parties, she also speaks frankly about her own experiences with sexual assault, abortion, and ADHD.
I'm never going to be a Baby Hilton and I don't think Paris wants me to join her entourage, but I did enjoy this memoir.
