2nd in series and as enjoyable as the first. Can't wait to read the next. Funny, well-written and just a fun mystery. Kyra Davis has a winner in the Sophie Katz mystery series. Carol, McFarland, WI

It took me a while to get into it, but the characters are kind of sassy and fun once you are interested in them. Mystery involving a cheating husband. Also enjoyed the San Francisco setting since I am from the Bay Area originally.

Didn't like this one as much as the first one. I will be reading the next two in the series soon and hope they are much better.

I really wanted to like this series. I read the first and thought it worth giving book two a try. I wish I hadn't. The premise behind this series is sound, but I just couldn't take the inane plot, the completely stupid and irrational actions of the main characters and the large number of editing errors in this book (anybody going to start ringing your hands? Or maybe you can add your own personal flare to your apartment?). Also, the way Sophie uses her fear of becoming her nephew's guardian as her main driving force behind wanting to help her sister really rubbed me the wrong way. I won't be reading any more of this series. It's just not for me.

It is a quick easy read. Very entertaining. I loved this story. The author is fantastic.

decent enough, but I did not love it- I found many of the characters annoying and although I did want to know who the killer was, it was a long road getting there
