I read Fallen (it was ok). I read Torment (I enjoyed that one). So I was excited to read this one. But, and maybe it was because I read the other two back to back and had to wait for this one, but this one just didn't do it for me.
I found some things......predictable! At times it just dragged on. I rolled my eyes in many areas. Maybe that's because I've read the bible and KNOW things.
The book was ok, I gave it 3 stars. I'll read the last one due out next Spring (Rapture). I WAS collecting these, but I think I may pass them on. I do not see me re-reading them. I actually prefered the HUSH HUSH series.

I had high hopes for Passion but sadly I'm giving this one 2.5 stars. I actually am a fan of the Fallen Series which is why I was disappointed with the fact that I found myself bored during this book.
Luce did a lot of time traveling, going back to her past selves to find out and learn more about everything that is going on and how to break the curse. Yet, I felt quite a few of the lives she visited were just fillers, neither she nor I the reader really learned anything. Most of the questions are still left unanswered.
There was a new antagonist in Passion, although I must admit even he was very predictable. I already figured out he was the bad guy the moment he appeared.
Overall the book didn't become interesting until the ending which left us with a cliffhanger. And yes I will be picking up Rapture when it comes out, just to see how everything turns out.

I have loved the fallen series and this was actually supposed to be the last book in the series...but obviously the author wanted to squeeze some more bucks out of us, so she wrote this "filler" book instead. I found this book to be very very boring. How many times must a person go back to their past lives just to relieve the same I love you and POOF scene over and over and over and over. Very predictable and very boring. Could have easily fit the parts of the book that are needed to continue the story into a few chapters and have finished up the story line. I'll still be picking up Rapture when it comes out, but will be glad when the series is done.
I definitely was not let down by this book. I loved reading more about Luce and Daniel's past lives with each other. I will say that it was heart breaking to read at points but it defintely helps to understand their relatoinship better and why Daniel seems to push her away so much at times. I liked how Luce had to find out more about their love, his lover for her, and her love for him. Instead of just accepting that they are meant to be together she had to learn it for herself. I liked that aspect of the book. Of coarse there was not as much action in this one as the previous 2 but we were learning about their love in this book so I was okay with it. I honestly don't know what to say but I throuoghly enjoyed this book. I can't wait for the 4th and final book Rapture to come out next year!!! I also loved getting a glimpse of Cam's past self as well and what pushed him to the dark side. I hope by the end of Rapture Cam gets a happy ending and he/daniel can once again have that relationship they had in the beginnin
Love it.
Get ready for a bumpy ride through the history of Lucinda and Daniel. Starts right off where Torment left off, where Luce steps into an announcer and stars going backwards in history. Along the was she meets up with a gargoyle who helps her in the different lives, filling in blank spots, picking cloths, giving advice and what not. Also going back in history are Shelby, Miles, Daniel, and the rest of the Angels. Daniel fights to figure out where Luce is and runs into his past selves and also learns some memories that he forgotten and always late were his present Luce is, when she time hop again. Now towards the end Daniel finds out how to stop the curse, remember how the Fall came about and the gargoyle is the Big Bad Man himself. A bit of a spoiler.

This book was a huge let down. The first one was amazing and the second one was good but this one, this one was dull and boring. I finished the first two books within a few days. It took me a long time to finish this one because it was painful to read. I may not read the fourth book.
