Good story about changings, and the people who are faced with decisions to make.
I'll be honest, I tried and I couldn't get through this thing. I read the first chapter, thought it had some clever lines, but then lost interest. Skimmed parts, skipped to the end, and thought, why is this book so dull? It is dull. I think the story would be better told as a TV miniseries, where you'd have great Brit actors to flesh out the characters. I can't recommend it, except to Fellowes fans who want to read everything he's written.
