One of my favorite cookbooks out there! It's full of excellent recipes, vintage photos, stories, and enough butter to give you a coronary just reading it! (Just kidding!) But seriously, it is a fantastic cookbook, and one of the best. The only part of the book that is not relevant to me are the sometimes bizarre decorating tips from Paula Deen's personal assistant. Other than that, a real winner! :-)

It is done in typical Paula Deen style, meaning friendly and with a conversational tone. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates her cooking style.
