The author's voice was a turn off for me but I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Once I got used to the voice I got into the audio book. Over 12 hours of story telling that developed in funny and often surprising discoveries. Good friends supported the damsel in distress and gave Pawleys Islanders a memorable moment to revelle in success. Huey, Abigail, Miss Olivia see to it that Rebecca stays true to the Island unity and justice
