Fun story with a good premise and good possibilities for the future. The animals are fun and the mystery was good. Hope the stories to follow will continue to grow and more on the pet boutique and barkery. I didn't figure out the murderer, but at least followed the track of the characters thoughts right along with them. I did figure out a couple of the twists and turns so that was fun. Looking forward to the next, plenty of kooky characters to have fun with.

First book in a news series with Izzy opening Trendy Tails with her own designed pet clothes. Her best friend, Rena, does the gourmet treats side of the shop. When the town nuisance decided to picket the grand opening because she doesn't think animals should be forced to wear clothes, ahe meets an untimely end and the cops point the finger at Rena. Izzy has to clear her friend. I enjoyed this book.
