A J P Beaumont mystery. There is a snow storm in Seattle. Beaumont must work with Detective Kramer who is a real thorn in his side. And a person to be interview is his least favorite reporter Maxwell Cole. Very good story

Man and a woman are hideously killed and stuffed in a closet inside a school district building. Everyone has a secret. Just when you think you know who committed the crime, there is another twist in the case.
This is about a terrifying and creepy as Jance gets.

This is my first Jance book and it was kind of slow in places due to too much detail for me. The plot picked up in the last few chapters for an exciting climax. Will try another one more Jance novel to see if the writing improves.
