Reading Just Peachy was a huge chore. The main character, Peachy, thinks and speaks entirely too much and the author puts every painful word on the page. I wanted to give up on the book less than 1/4 of the way in but I hate to leave a mystery unsolved in my head. So I fought through the book... take my advice and skip this one if you can.

Since the main character is the type that is always in other people's business trying to help them, we learn a lot about the other characters. It is obvious that Winters is trying to give us a good background for her mystery but since it is page 148 before any one goes missing, the story seems to drag. I did enjoy the ending but the story as a whole felt bogged down with to much extra information.
