Thought the first chapter was a funny and interesting look at the struggle most of us go through when we are deciding whether or not to homeschool. The rest of the book was less compelling and left me wishing that the mother of the family (the one doing the majority of the homeschooling) could have chimed in here and there with her own struggles and thoughts.

Great book for people who are just starting to homeschool. It isn't a "how to" but a "how we did it" book. It's about the first year of homeschooling for the Butterworth family. Bill Butterworth is a great writer it was very intriguing to see how another family started out.
