I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It makes definite, faith-based arguments for some very modern topics without being "preachy". It also tells the story of how a "perfect" family deals with their grief. This is my first book by this author, and I am inclined to look for more books by her.

Angela Hunt never disappoints me. This is another wonderful book about listening to that still small voice, obeying and maintaining the connection once you've established a relationship with God. Her books are always real and I can always relate to them in a very human way in some aspect. Super read.

I had read Angela Hunt's The Note, and was not impressed, but this book floored me! Ms. Hunt tackles some really tough topics in this book and does it in a way that leaves you wanting and wondering for more. I never thought I would even be tempted to go down certain paths, but this book made me wonder ... I found myself hurting and yearing with the characters. Very well done!

I could not put it down! I love Angela Hunt's books, but this has to be one my favorites!
It was an excellent book. I would highly recommend it and her other books to others.
Interesting. I could not relate to the woman in this book but I could to the man. Funny...how different personalities will deal with grief. This was an eye-opening and curious read.

Hmmm... I think this is a great book even though it is definitely different from the rest of Angela Hunt's books. It does make you think!
Good story. This was the first of her's that I have read - I'm going to have to find some others!
This is a book that will make you think as well as question what you really believe. The story shows how easy it is for Christians to turn from the narrow path into a path not of God when life becomes more than we can handle. Angela Hunt has written another really good novel & I highly recommend it. While many of her books are allegories, this one is more a tale of what can go wrong when we take our eyes off God in the midst of whatever crisis we may be going through.
Another great read from Angela Hunt. A prime example of self will run riot and it's consequences!
