I didn't see any famous people's letters, and I found the letters more sweet than sad (a man promising to clean the bathtub, for instance).

I really enjoyed this book! It was a quick read and I loved how it wasn't just typical love letters but also breakup letters and the variety that relationships bring out in people.
It really had me thinking of the modes of communication nowadays, and how much I love written letters and expressed feelings.
I also loved the variety of methods people used to get their point across.

This book is encouraging and heartbreaking all in one. Some of the love letters are comical, some filled with want, some with need, some with bitterness. This book is quick to read, but I have found myself going back thru it sometimes, just for inspiration to never give up.
