Well written children's mystery. Emily's struggle to remain positive and helpful reminded me a bit of Pollyanna. The story starts slowly, but even my reluctant listener was asking for more after the first couple of chapters.
This is a book I read numerous times when I was in 5th and 6th grades. I enjoyed it every time and now use it in my classroom.
